The new, low chassis of the new Harley Touring models inspired Corbin to create this clean, low-level single seat that allows the driver more control of the motorcycle while standing still.
It is also available in a closed version that provides 2 "(5.08 cm) of overtaking in the driving posture with respect to the original seat.
This seat allows you to create a foam shape that provides a better center of gravity and more sense of control. The spoon-type and support design gives more than 4 "(10.16 cm) of vertical support (14" (35.56 cm with backrest installed) All this adds to a very relaxed and comfortable posture.
Inside, our exclusive Comfort Cell foam provides a firm, non-deforming support. We have issued this special closed cell material almost twice as firm as conventional foam to support your body weight during the day.
Classic and Close Solo seats work with either of the two original passenger seat models.
Ispirated in the 50's offers a slimmer profile for a clean appearance with medium-range passenger support. Both models are compatible with or with the Electra-Glide removable sissy HD bar system. Both are constructed with the same high quality materials as the Classic Solo and are covered to match an integrated look. Both pillion seats have been re-carved to work with a variety of sissybar and luggage rack options. They no longer use the key lock system and look slightly different from the ones shown above.
When using a sissy or tour Pak, we offer coordinated back pads to match your Corbin system. The sculpted design provides a great contact patch and excellent support with integrated armrests. For the detachable sissy bar, we offer a revolving quality contoured backing pad that is screwed as the common pad. Covered to match your Corbin seating system.
All components include genuine leather inserts. For a very elegant and subtle touch we recommend our standard natural grain leather seat with vinyl sides. We prefer the leather seat because it is durable, it will breathe with your body making it very durable. The vinyl side panels help support the shape of the foam and combine perfectly with the cure. A wide variety of color and texture options are available by special order at no additional charge.
The Corbin Classic Solo seat offers the option of an electric seat heater to add a bit of luxury. Wiring that connects easily into your original HD fuse box, the Corbin seat heater is controlled through a conveniently located switch along the left side. Two heat settings are available and are automatically maintained by the integrated controller.
The Corbin seat uses our key lock system to turn it on and off easily. Once the brackets are assembled, the seat is installed and removed with a simple turn of a key. The brackets are mounted in the original locations and are very simple to install. If you choose the electric heat, we include wiring that integrates with the OEM fuse box.
