Today we propose our list of the 10 best Harley-Davidson models of all time. Open to suggestions, no doubt.

DAH Hillclimber (1932): With the idea that victories in the races in the hills would mean sales at dealerships, Harley-Davidson created this model specifically for the competition, so its production was scarce, just about 25 copies. It had the new DAH engine, a 750 cc. Pre-Knucklead OHV (overhead valves), which is among Harley's rarest models. Precisely the Hillclimber was the machine chosen by Jeff Decker to sculpt his famous statue just outside the Harley-Davison museum.

XA 750 (1942): The XA (Experimental Army) is a model designed by H-D commissioned by the US Army during World War II. However, he never made his debut in combat, because the conflict in North Africa ended earlier than expected. FLH Duo-Glide (1958): Its main feature is that it had the first rear hydraulic brake and the novel suspension of the Big Twin engines, a rear swingarm suspended by a couple of units. Precisely in honor of this genuine chassis, which offered drivers a much smoother ride, it was called Duo-Glide.

FLH Electra Glide (1965): With a spectacular design that looked to the future, it was the last model equipped with the veteran Panhead engine. The perfect combination between yesterday and tomorrow. Only 6,900 units were manufactured, but later it has become one of the brand's flagships, since the model has undergone several updates, the most prominent being those of 1978 and 1996.

FX Super Glide (1971): It was the first factory custom Harley motorcycle, with chopper style, created from the combination of two popular models of the brand: the Big Twin Fl and the XL Sporster. It featured a 1200 cc Shovelhead twin-cylinder engine, an extra seat and tail in fiberglass and bold paint.

VRSC V-Rod (2002): Harley's most recognized and awarded model, the first of the VRSC (V-Twin Racing Street Custom) line, presented an innovative design that marked the era, in addition to having a new engine, the Revolution , a 60-degree V-Twin with liquid cooling, developed jointly with Porsche. Its production was limited to 11,000 units.

Softail Heritage Classic (2009): Nostalgic in style, it is one of the most attractive in the Softail range thanks to its balance between technology and elegance. It is made for the road, presenting maximum performance for long trips. Its slender figure surprises its small and trimmed exhaust, as well as a horseshoe-type oil tank with chromed external ducts. It also has a 1584 cc engine, 6 speeds, air cooling and electric injection.

V-Rod Muscle (2009): This is a spectacular review of the V-Rod model after almost 7 years of its creation. The V-Rod Muscle is a powerful machine powered by a 1250 cc engine, 125 hp and 5 changes. The inverted fork, the lowered and boxed seat, the large rear fender, with an exhaust on each side, make your figure truly impressive.

Fat Boy (2009): With strong features and famous for films like Terminator II, it is one of the most representative motorcycles in the Harley universe. In addition to presenting a powerful Twin Cam 103 engine, 1584 cc, air-cooled, with changes with cruise function and chain transmission, its elegant design is captivating. It is an emblem for the Milwaukee firm, the best selling motorcycle in the brand's history.

Dyna Wide Glide (2010): It is a spectacular reissue of the classic chopper, in which the features of the old school are maintained, but with improved performance. Especially outstanding are its chrome details. In addition, its thick fork and the narrow 21 '' side wheel stand out, as well as its very low single-seater seat, quite forward footrests and raised handlebars.

So far our Top 10. It makes your mouth water, right? To anybody! But surely there are those who miss the odd mythical model on the list: Sportster (1957), FXEF Fat Bob (1979), 883R (2002), Nightster 1200 (2009), Street Bob (2009), Rocker (2009) or CVO Street Glide (2010). And it is that with such wonder in their ranks, mission impossible to please everyone. What would be your change?
