38TH FARO 2019 MOTORBIKE CONCENTRATION

July and motorcycles is, without a doubt, synonymous with Faro. What began in the 70s being a meeting between biker friends, initiated by a group that would later be the Moto Club Faro (MCF), has become one of the most important international concentrations with more tradition in Europe.

Year after year, a multitude of followers from all countries are gaining, and it is not surprising considering not only the many tourist attractions offered by the Algarve coast, in the south of Portugal, but also the good poster that usually presents and, Above all, the impeccable organization of the event.

This year the International Concentration of Faro has completed its 38th edition, in which 25,000 visitors have been exceeded. All of them have been meeting during the penultimate weekend of July, from 18 to 21, in "Vale das Almas", a conditioned land in the outskirts of Faro airport, which includes a large camping area.

If you're a biker and you've never been, you've missed something really big. But if you had been before, it is normal that you have repeated. You can attest to the unsurpassed brotherhood and camaraderie atmosphere that is breathed during the four days of the event. Good vibes at full throttle, with motorcycles, sun, beach and music as the main ingredients.

The restaurants, open day and night to keep us hydrated, and the good weather has accompanied, as usual at this time of year. The beach is close, a couple of kilometers away, so we have also been able to put on our swimsuit and soak in the Atlantic.

To liven up, it has been possible to enjoy concerts and live performances every night - this year with Dutch Within Temptation and Celtas Cortos, among others - and even the odd surprise show, with striptease included. Nor have the draws and contests been missing, such as the one of ‘Tatoos’ or the expected ‘Bike Show’. Nor of course the traditional motorcycle parade on Sunday morning through the main city streets, in gratitude to the hospitality of the neighbors, who turn to visitors.

The motorcycle exhibition and the fair of products related to the two wheels, of course, have again had their place in the concentration. With stands and stands where you can buy everything from clothes or adhesives with official merchandising to bracelets and handmade rings. And even catch ideas for a new tattoo. Fellowship, evasion, laughs, enjoyment. What you are looking for, in Faro you find it safe.

It is normally that it is called The European Mecca of Motorcycling. And every year there are more bikers who come from all corners of the continent to enjoy an unbeatable atmosphere, share experiences with old friends and, without a doubt, add new ones.

In Vale Das Almas you encounter ‘bikers’ of all kinds with whom to exchange views tasting a very cool Sagres, but above all the bikers who love custom style abound. In no concentration will you ever find yourself alone, let alone in it.

Next year, you know. Faro deserves to be visited for everything that it means to the biker world. So, do you prefer to live it or be told?
