QUESTION. Dear Sir or Madam. I have an "unusual" question and really hope you can help me: I inherited my fathers Suzuki VL 1500 and these platforms are mounted. As I live in Germany I went to the German TÜV ((MOT) for the necessary test and was informed that these platforms are not the original ones. The tester therefore asked for a vehicle type approval ("ABE") or a certificate in which states these can be used on the bike. As I did not have this I had to take the platforms off the bike.
